Tell us about yourself and your music
My name is Michael N. Doku from Ghana West Africa and I write and compose gospel and spiritual songs. I currently live in Vermont USA with my 4 year old boy who also enjoys music very much as I do. I also enjoy soccer very much. I like to be active and mostly outdoors when I’m not in the studio making music.
Talk to us more about your latest release
My latest single is titled Somu Yie (Hold on fast). I am currently promoting this song online and on radio in Ghana and some other parts of the world. It talks about about not giving up on God almighty. How to keep trusting in the Lord for the things in life on this earth. Video is yet to be released soon.
What inspired you to write this release?
My experience and what other people are going through in life.
Any plans to release a video?
Yes. There are videos in the making right now. Some are on youtube
Any plans to hit the road?
I currently have no tour coming up.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
Basically I just carry a message of hope, love and peace to the anyone who enjoys good music. I like my music to speak to the souls of all those who listens

Wide variety of music. Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Oscar Peterson, Micah Stampley, William McDowell etc

The thought of going out there and making a difference, helping people and seeing the smiles on little kids.
What else is happening next in your world?
Writing more music and piano Practice.
