Tell us about yourself and your music
As a romantic and idealistic person I am, I try to put that ingredient in each of the lyrics of my songs, and in the music, a touch of it as well. I feel the music is my deep ocean, is in me, I think I have that natural ability to do it.
Talk to us more about your latest release
SIN TUS BESOS NO VIVO, in Spanish, all women like to be given love, caresses, kisses, and particularly my Latino background has very much of it, is a warmth culture, is open, sensitive, deep, attending this nature, as a woman I think not only me, even all in a relationship needs to give each other comprehension, love and the way it can be manifested is with kisses, and gestures of love, the lyrics of this song talk about that.
What inspired you to write this release?
I was very happy and sometimes I observe couples, walking they kiss and cuddle, is nice, and I say those moments are the best, when oneself feel the protection and carer of the other person, I wish that when I wrote that.
Describe the writing and recording process
I have to be relaxed to compose, then I take my guitar, and try some chords, after it when I have more or less part of the music, I begin to write the lyrics. When everything is finished music in my guitar and the lyrics, I pass it to the music arranger, and instrumental producer who finishes it, to be recorded and mastered
Any plans to release a video?
I would like, but at the moment I perform on youtube the music with the sleeve, I design it with photoshop and then upload it. I need to work more to put good videos on the air, at this moment I am looking for a full-time musician job, which will help to develop my career in a better and deeper way.
Any plans to hit the road?
Concerts or performances always will be posted latest Spring or summer, to be enjoyed, normally in someplace in London
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
In this point I don’t try to compete with other artists, because many are very commercials, I don’t mind if it commercial or not. I think one person can not compete at all with others, more and better I would say something that I listen when in some video Oprah Winfrey said, the best version of myself, I do try, if I am not famous, well is not a career of being famous, is the career to feel happy to do something one enjoy I write romantic music, I write about feelings, more than historical events, or protest music, I think is different to the normal pop American music which usually is taken as icon, I think is a mixture, with Latin rhythm, Spanish, and basically is done in my guitar which make it with a very nostalgic and romantic accent. It can stay just with that instrument
Who have you been listening to lately?
I appreciate, many singers, Jlo, Madonna, Turner, Beyonce, Adele, many old singers and bands, like Double, or America s Band, and many more, they have excellent, excellent production…to arrive at that level, is necessary to advance more than one mile more I hope I can do it reach a nice level.
Who are your biggest influences?
well, those good singers, and especially I love this artistic world, and my producer has been my musical support, a person with a great talent I think, he always knows what instrument used to find a special effect.
Tell us about your passions
I love music, architecture, politics, travel, read, swim, dance…I could dedicate my time to all these things and I feel the happiest woman in the world,
I like also to socialize a lot, and love, I think I am a family person, even I don’t live with my family, I am looking forward to attending in some way this fact.
What else is happening next in your world?
I would like to push the music more and get involved in full-time work in this field or at least part, not dismissing time for other interesting activities as well… I hope I can post some songs which I have written but I have not posted them still, as in a way I have been affected by the weather many times in the UK. I hope it can be solved in Spring
