Tell us about yourself and your music
I am an upcoming artist from Port Huron Michigan. Music has been an escape for me since I have been 13 years old. My lyrics come from the soul and reflect the joy and pain I’ve felt throughout my life.
Talk to us more about your latest release
I released Why We Gotta Die because of all the anger people have had towards one race in the black lives matter movement. I feel we are all as one and all lives matter.
What inspired you to write this release?
I was inspired to write this song because of all the hatred in the world. I strongly feel that all lives matter. We cannot expect change unless we change with in are self first.
Any plans to release a video?
I have plans on releasing the video to Why We Gotta Die in February.
Any plans to hit the road?
I would love nothing better than to hit the road and perform for the world. At this time I have no plans as of yet.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
I’m different. I am not trying to be like any artist in the industry. I feel my music stands out from the rest of the artists because of my lyrics and the sound of my music. I talk about real life and the struggles it has put me through rather than money, women, partying & materialistic things.
Who have you been listening to lately?
Lately I have been listening to myself and trying to perfect my music.
Tell us about your passions
My passion is my family. My children get me out of bed everyday. They are my reason for striving so hard. Without them, I’m not sure where I would be today.
What else is happening next in your world?
I plan on finishing up with my album this year. I have a hand full of singles that I’ve already put out. Now, it’s time for the full album to come out so people can hear my diversity at its best.
Thanks for an awesome interview, Christopher!
