Talk to us more about your latest release

My latest release was a mixtape paying homage to some of the MC’s who helped influence my style of rap. Also to bring back some of the classic flows and sounds that helped pave the way for artists today.

What inspired you to write this release?

I always listen to the older hip-hop/Rap music to remind me where I cam from and to keep me grounded. I’m in tune with the new music as well but every once in a while I’ll be by myself bumping some old Az or Wu-tang or CNN

Describe the writing and recording process

It didn’t take me long once I hear the beat I quickly know what I’m gonna say or how to approach the beat. However, I did take me time to make sure I did it right .. I’ve been working recording wise so my quality compliments the idea of the project

Any plans to release a video?

Currently not at this time but soon yes because I have another project I’m working on currently

Any plans to hit the road?

Yes hopefully by the end of the summer

As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?

I try to focus on not following the crowd. Also approaching each beat with a diff style .. I grew up hearing diversity so I’m always trying new sounds and creatively reaching for diff sounds

Who have you been listening to lately?

Lately, I been listening to Raekwon new album “The Wild” as well as Rick Ross album “Better you than Me” and some migos “Culture” I also like Cardi B and Dave East

Who are your biggest influences?

Nas, Ghostface, Gillie Da Kid, Sheek Louch, Rakim, Dipset, Tupac, Jay Z, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne,

Tell us about your passions

I love Art .. I currently design and sell sneakers as well as Clothing, I also have my own radio and phone app. Stuff like this keeps me going because it’s my way of giving back to the culture.. I also enjoy reading about History and old Cultures. Also learning the business and looking into futuristic ideas

What else is happening next in your world?

I’m gearing up to do my first Official Album called “Midas Touch”. Very excited can’t wait !!!
