Tell us about yourself and your music
I’m a Singer/Songwriter/Recording Artist from Southern California. What some may not know about me is that I was born Anaphylactic (allergic) to 95% of all foods & have a feeding tube in my stomach to get my nutrition. I have almost lost my life several times due to my condition. In spite of this, I have been a well-known advocate for those with disabilities. I use my music as my mission to inspire others with disabilities & let them know they are never alone. My debut album “Original” was named in the spirit of letting people know it’s okay to be different. I strongly believe in including EVERYONE, disability or no disability, & I hope that my music reaches everyone who might be struggling with similar ailments or as I like to call them “gifts”. I am currently in the studio working hard on my second album & busy playing shows!

My latest release is a single called “Future” !
What inspired you to write this release?
Future was inspired by a silly crush that I had on a very obnoxious guy. So I wrote an equally obnoxious song! Haha! It seemed like when we met we both got really nervous & acted super funny around each other, so I was just sort of trying to write what we were both really thinking. I’m pretty sure he still has no idea the song is about him, which makes it funnier.
Describe the writing and recording process
When I first wrote the song it was in a sarcastic manner, I thought it was the most annoying thing ever. When I played it for my producer for the first time I literally described it as “This lame new thing that I wrote”. But as usual, the thing I laugh at ends up being the catchiest & people seem to connect to it. Recording the song was fun, but honestly playing this song live is my favorite. It’s a very great song for crowd participation & I love hearing them sing along to this one!

As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
To be completely honest, I try not to stress too much about “Standing out”. I think that when you become so obsessed with the business side or with playing the game, the music you’re creating takes a backseat. I do what I can & stay true to who I am. People tend to connect more to authenticity, so I stay real at all costs.
Who have you been listening to lately?
EVERYTHING! Haha! As an artist & writer, I am constantly falling in love with new music! But recently I’ve made a habit of meeting fellow artists & friends & listening to their music. A lot of these songs the world hasn’t heard yet, & it amazes me, cus they NEED TOO! Who are your biggest influences?
Growing up Springsteen was a HUGE influence. He’s a hero of mine. I’ve been hugely influenced by heroes like Cash, Dolly Parton, Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, etc. But at 11 years old I bought my first Taylor Swift album, & let’s just say I was never the same after that day.
Tell us about your passions
MUSIC… duh! Also my dog… & I love fitness & running! One of my biggest passions is helping others with special needs, & being an advocate for others with disabilities fuels so much of what I do!
