After releasing some exciting bites of information regarding his latest studio album, Wrecking Ball, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are finally prepared to hit the road. The first record and tour since the passing of founding member and saxophonist Clarence Clemons, this sees the group continuing in their celebrated tradition while engaging in a few exciting musical ventures.

The initial leg of the US tour ignites less than two weeks after Wrecking Ball’s release on March 6, beginning in Atlanta on March 18 at the Philips Arena. Springsteen and company will hit a number of arenas up and down the Eastern shore, touching down briefly in the Midwest, followed by a pair of dates in California. The shows culminate on May 2 at – you guessed it – the Boss’ home state of New Jersey at Newark’s Prudential Center.

Wrecking Ball’s first single debuted last week, as “We Take Care of Our Own” was released via Springsteen’s official website. Featuring guest performances from Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello and Pearl Jam’s Matt Chamberlain, the record promises to be another captivating venture from the Bruce and the E Street Band.

Tickets for some show dates start to go on sale by January 27, and fans can visit Springsteen’s official site for complete details. The first piece of the US tour is as follows:
