The G-Bombs Put the Finishing Touches on Debut

Fusing Punk and Reggae to Influence

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Virginia Beach, Virginia – April 8, 2016 – Coming together from a string of other bands, The men who make up The G-Bombs have a lot of experience and talent up their sleeves. Taking their love of reggae and putting a punk spin on it, they’re working on their debut and plan on taking the show on the road as they’re already seasoned veterans when it comes to touring.

Founding member Nick Clark had previously been in Duburbia, which had sold out shows in Virginia, and played alongside the likes of Bad Brains and Pepper. Clark isn’t the only one who comes from a celebrated past. Lead vocalist Dennis Spence toured with Jackmove as they hit the road with Authority Zero and Fishbone, and guitarists Tom Gallardo and Trevon Chambers also toured with Authority Zero when they were in David Hasselhoff’s Haircut. So it’s clear these guys know a thing or two about making music and playing it live. So they’re excited to be writing and recording an all-original debut to share with the world.

The band promises they’re going to “show more creativity” on this upcoming release as they hope to have an “influence on culture” with their punk meets reggae sound that fans of bands like Nofx and Operation Ivy would enjoy. They dropped a demo back in 2014, but have grown so much since then, that fans both new and old will be playing this new one on repeat.

Those interested in staying up to date on everything The G-Bombs are doing from where they’ll be playing to when they’re debut will drop, can keep tabs on them online.
