New Album, Summer Shows and More
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Schenectady, New York – May 16, 2016 – The time has come. JV and Teej worked well together, but took a break from one another to explore who they were as solo acts. After some time away from one another they’ve joined, revamped and are back with what they feel is a project that’s better than all the rest. Today they are Stay Fresh and with that comes not only a new album, The JV and TEEJ Project, in June, but a summer packed full of concerts and even a clothing line in the near future.
Fans have boasted how Stay Fresh Album transports them back to the days when they first fell in love with hip-hop. Having grown up in one of the golden eras of the genre, JV and Teej’s love and appreciation of the 90’s was something they felt strongly about and knew they had to bring into the here and now. Both believe what they’re doing is “more than rap, it’s music on a mission,” and with that they plan to donate a portion of the proceeds from album and clothing sales to the City Mission Back Pack Program.
Their role in the community on top of their rhymes has led them to appear on Albany Broadcasting, Fuse TV and landed them guest spots guest hosting a local music video show, CR6; a throwback to MTV’s TRL. On top of all their appearances, JV and Teej have also played with pop acts like Natasha Bedingfield and Sugar Ray to hip hop and R&B favorites Coolio and City High. They’re clearly great for a wide variety of audiences from rock to pop to hip hop, everyone can get on board with Stay Fresh. Just read what Vintage Media Group has to say about them.
These two will be playing their album release show June 18 at Firestone 151 in Schenectady, and after that they have a summer filled with shows. In between all their concerts, they’ll continue to work on their new clothing line, as well as record. Those interested in keeping up with Stay Fresh can check them out this summer and online.
Stay Fresh is a hip hop duo comprised of JV and Teej. Those two were partners in the past but took a bit of a break to do their own things. Now they’re back with what they feel is their best yet. A new album, summer dates and more to come.
