On The Road October 2017 Through March 2018
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hardwick, Massachusetts – August 29, 2017 – Seeing Melekai Joe live is like seeing a festival lineup because of his multi-genre approach to sound. A man who can take on anything with strings, he controls the stage playing everything from blues to rock to country and more. Which he’ll continue to do when he hits the road for an international tour in October 2017.
Melekai Joe recorded his first album back in 2012 in Nashville alongside Fred Vail and his A-team; Chris Leuzinger (session leader), Eddie Bayers (drums), and Tony Harrell (keyboard). After that, he saw success via Jango as listeners kept the spins coming. He even landed in the Top 10 on Independent Radio Charts. Since then he’s recorded a new country record that is slated to drop a month before he sets out on the road.
Fans can expect the new album at the end of September 2017. On it, one will find his hit single “Slice of Pie,” which features Danny Dunn on steel guitar. Dunn is a master of the craft who has toured alongside Charley Pride, Tanya Tucker, and many more. “Slice of Pie” is currently in rotation on Jango, iHeart Radio, and is available on iTunes.
This year has been a great one for Melekai Joe as he performed in Los Angeles at the world famous El Rey Theatre in February in front of almost one thousand VIPs, including Grammy nominees as he was considered and listed for a 2017 Grammy Award.
Currently playing in New England, he’ll be hitting the international market in October, and will be on the road throughout March 2018. He will start in Prague, head to Austria, settle down in Italy on a cruise, and then sail off to South America where he’ll perform at various venues before making his way back to the states.
