NYC’s M.C Goes Viral With “El Chapo”

Queens, New York — April 21, 2016 — “Feeling like El Chapo Chapo Chapo Chapo,” is the catchy hook that seems to stay in everyone’s head after hearing it. It’s only been a month and New York City clubs and DJs are on fire with this new record.
After receiving major radio play from Da Union DJs and Power 105.1’s own DJ Will, as well as a host of indie and college radio stations, M.C’s “El Chapo” has gone viral over social media with its own dance challenge dubbed the #ElChapoChallenge. Although the full track is not out just yet, M.C has already distributed it to certain DJs already, and has also made the song available for streaming exclusively on his site. This record has gotten MC recognition from some of New York City’s top people in the nightlife scene.DJ Will of Power 105.5 says, “The energy of that record is crazy,” while one of the Big Apple’s top club DJs, DJ MrFamous says, “El Chapo is the one that’s going to bring his career to the next level.”
He has also started a movement behind the record with the “Chapo Gang” imprint, a brand that in so little time has taken on a life of its own with Chapo Gang Clothing and merch being seen on some of New York City’s reputable DJ’s and artists like DJ Will, DJ MrFamous and Phresher.
M.C Plans to release the full single along with a video on April 21 at Taj in New York City at an exclusive celebrity red carpet event.
