Lord Rar Preps for Winter Release
Artist Looks to Branch Out of the Outback and Play Around the World
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Melbourne, Australia – May 15, 2016 – Down under Lord Rar has played all over this hometown, from The Black Goat to The Chandler Room to The Empress Hotel and more. Now he’s not only preparing for the release of his upcoming album later this year, but also looking to land in venues in either the US and the Philippines after the album drops in December.
A one-man show, Lord Rar is a singer-songwriter who pours a lot of elements into what he does. He makes listeners want to move with his indie take on pop, but on top of that one can hear bits of jazz, R&B, and funk all wrapped up into his contemporary style. He’s continued to impress in Melbourne at venues like The Cornish Arms Hotel and The Thornbury Local, with crowds really being captivated by his ability to own the stage with his talent and presence every time he steps up to the mic. While he’s played all over this great city, he plans on expanding his horizons and delivering his music to new lands like the Philippines and the United States by the end of the year, just in time for his next release.
Lord Rar is aiming for an eight-song record to arrive just in time for the holidays. He’s hoping it’ll get the same recognition and then some as his last EP did. As his last release was heard locally on the Deakin University station, and Jango as well. Next up, he plans on taking over the mainstream airwaves with his eclectic take on pop with his singer-songwriter style tossed in the mix.
Those interested in Lord Rar can keep up with him online. His new album and tour are slated for December 2016.
