James T. Wilde Delivers “A Life Half Lived”
New Single Out Soon
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Leicester, UK – February 14, 2018 – With a music theatre background in his back pocket, James T. Wilde is no stranger to the stage. While he’s traded in his acting shoes for a singer-songwriter pair, he’s still on top of his game as he prepares for the release of his video for “A Life Half Lived.”
This anthemic songwriter grew up influenced by the rockers of the ’70s. Everyone from Bowie to Queen shaped his essence, but he wound up performing in a different realm first; theatre. An MMU Cheshire grad, he spent a lot of his time after school in the West End & Broadway touring company. A few years later he realized his gift with words and decided to travel a different path.
An open mic in 2011 led him to be discovered by indie radio DJ, Russell Auty who fell for Wilde’s original tracks “Guilty Morning After” and “Perfect Night.” Airplay may’ve started then, but that’s not where it stopped. Worldwide airplay and buzz online allowed James to make major moves. He performed at the Upton Festival 2013 and YNOT Festival 2017 alongside Toyah Wilcox and Two Door Cinema Club. James also placed in the Open Mic UK Regional Finals two years in a row in 2016 and 2017.
Now James is about to drop the video for “A Life Half Lived.” The single has already cracked the Top 20 on the UK Rock charts. So the video will take it even further.
