Cloudflowers releases spacey, synth-driven debut single, “Cloud La’s”
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Billings, MT 59104 — June 30, 2017 — From the unlikely windswept plains of Montana, Cloudflowers’s debut single, “Cloud La’s”, is a whirling ascent of arpeggiations and escalating strings that invites you to limbo between the stars and sky at the edge of the atmosphere.
Seattle Met arts and entertainment editor, Seth Sommerfeld, describes the track as “an ethereal rumble, like a fantastical JRPG cut scene pulled into our reality.” With features and airplay on sites and broadcasts from Paris to Tokyo,
Drawing inspiration from space-age futurism and his own surreal experiences alike, Cloudflowers (the one-man act of Jeremy Pettibone) creates dreamy, late-night and early-morning synth-driven prog-pop that feels both alien and familiar, like classic anime reruns or bargain-bin sci-fi soundtracks.
“Cloud La’s” is the first single from Cloudflowers’s forthcoming full-length album, which will be released and supported by a series of shows in late 2017. Listen to “Cloud La’s” now on Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud, and Bandcamp.
