Artist Interview: Morris Hayes Jr
Tell us about yourself and your music
Well I had started being involved into music by learning how to play guitar. At first I had found it kinda hard. Based I was learning how to play guitar by watching a video that my parents had gotten me for christmas one year. And then I had gotten to frustrated to continue because I wasn’t learning anything. So after christmas I had decided to take guitar lessons. So after my first lesson I had found out that I couldn’t play guitar with right handed which was surprise to me cause I’m right handed. So I had to learn how to play left handed which was a whole new experience for me. Cause after all that I had realized that I was able to learn faster. Especially when it came to reading music. After being able to do that, then I started learning how to play other instruments( e.g.: piano, guitar, bass guitar.) So after spending a few years going through music lessons, also going to school for music as well. I had decided that learning all these instruments wasn’t getting me anywhere. So I had gave up on it for a year or two. Then I had started a new job, and I had met a woman that was going to school to be a graphic designer and she was telling me how she was showing off her talents through the internet. So after thinking about it and talking to my friend at work. I had decided to become a Dj/music producer and make my own music. So after discovering all of that I had been that ever since.
What inspired you to write this release?
