Artist Interview: KING TUT THE DON
Tell us about yourself and your music
Greetings !! & Happy New Year and Thank You for this great opportunity to give The Entertainment World a journey threw my personal life and musical career. The music I have created threw out my 20 years in The Industry is very diverse and educational. I am very prideful of my Multi-cultural background and family. Hip Hop has been my musical instrument that has saved my life from Prison, the streets, gangs and drugs. My music inspires many unfortunate family’s, artist, community activist , leaders, the lost youth and many who share the commonality of Living below poverty level in our New 3rd world home grown ghettos of America. King Tut The Don is The Voice and Iron Hand of the We The People’s Human Right’s Revolution and Hip Hop’s Hewey P Newton.
Talk to us more about your latest release
King Tut The Don’s New mix CD album ( Black Tears ) is a Lyrically Incredible collage of Street Knowledge, Dope Rhymes and Political Genius.
The project is set to release in March.
What inspired you to write this release?
Black Tears The Album was inspired by the lost of our country’s Poor Educational systems value to guide our children’s bright futures. Our country’s violent carelessness for human life. The drug war epidemic, racism, poverty and poor health care, political tyranny inside our justice system, mass police shootings and much more.
Any plans to release a video?
Yes! we definitely wanted to do like a Video Bio for the whole album because the content is very deep and the video visuals we want for this is a album are powerful so we are not rushing to put out fast food music. We are in the business of soul food!
