Artist Interview: Infinito
Tell us about yourself and your music
Twenty three years of age. Infinito. I grew up all my life in texas, but never shunning my puertorican roots. I now partake in the urban latin industry, which includes bachata, mambo, merengue, reggaeton, trap, and salsa. It is a tough start knowing that where i’m located most people look down on it. Although because its in spanish many people will believe that it is mexican music which indeed is not the case. The music i do is more caribbean based.
Talk to us more about your latest release
My latest release. “Facturando”. It is a song based off of making money. Because when i started making music i was broke and now 2 years later i see making some revenue off of it, mainly just breaking even with the production and promotion. A new single will be releasing soon. Known as “Chamas Da Paixao” portuguese for “Flames of Passion”
What inspired you to write this release?
The fact that i am now being known in latin america. The fact that im finally seeing some revenue being made. I have been managing myself for the longest and thats the hardest part, but now things are going great.
Any plans to release a video?
As for a video, no video will be made for this song, due to the fact that i am working on an album titled, “Sin Limite”
Any plans to hit the road?
No tour dates yet, but soon all negotiations with, “GlobalBoyz” and “Dvice”
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
Well just the fact that im carribean bringing a different style to the music while keeping true to the roots
Who have you been listening to lately?
Tell us about your passions
Me wanting to persue a future in the music. Provide for my family if possible
What else is happening next in your world?
