Tell us about yourself and your music
I am a hip hop artist from Toronto. I fell in love with music and expressing myself on the mic. I’m looking forward to my new projects and developing my sound. My main goal is to expand my fan base.
Talk to us more about your latest release
My latest release reflects on a lot of the obstacles I’ve had to go through in Toronto. It can get pretty wild out here. Some of the producers and artists from this mixtape are fighting for there freedom up to today. That’s why it’s ‘Deeper Than The Music’
What inspired you to write this release?
My love for hip hop as well some of my personal life experiences inspired me to write this. It was like I needed to get a message out.
Any plans to release a video?
I’ve released videos for too songs off of this mixtape. ‘Where I’m From’ and ‘Low Low’ I don’t plan on releasing any more from this mixtape.
Any plans to hit the road?
I plan on hitting the road once I gain some more exposure and fam support, but nothing is currently planned.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
I mostly try to promote via Social Media but I’m having trouble gaining followers on a consistent basis.
Who have you been listening to lately?
I like to listen to the Migos, Lil Uzi, 21 Savage, Kodak, Lil Durk, Drake, Future & More.
Tell us about your passions
I like sports. I’m a big Soccer (Football) fan. I still play here and there to keep myself in good shape and health.
What else is happening next in your world?
I’ve got more music dropping this year and I’m planning to drop some higher budgeted videos towards the end of the year, as well.
Thanks for an awesome interview, Micahi!
