Tell us about yourself and your music
The Jones Family consists of a Father/Pastor, five of his six girls, two son’s, and two nephews.
We are a gospel group, but not the ordinary choir robe group many think about when mentioning gospel music. WE are traditional with a contemporary fliar and we have learn to grow where we’re planted.
Talk to us more about your latest release
Live At Mt.Zion is just that…a real live and upclose view of the Jones Family that’s life changing as well as power-packed fun. The release just prior to this one is “The SpiritSpeaks”, and that he does to all ages.
What inspired you to write this release?
The desire to bless the masses. Music having been said to be the universal language, it is the one way to touch many hearts gathered at one time. People of all nationalities has always and will always serve as an inspiration to us to be better, stand taller, dream bigger and reach further.
Any plans to release a video?
We release our first documentary last year which has traveled across the country and overseas as well. It’s entitled “The Jones Family Will Make A Way” which is now on Netflix & VuDu.
Any plans to hit the road?
Just completed two tours of Southern California & Many of the New England States.
More tours are scheduled and will be released to Social Media in the end of February.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
Our performances (second to none) is our brand….Also a healthy use of social media which includes Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.`
