Tell us about yourself and your music
I’m an independent rapper from Longview, Texas with a digital distribution deal with WorldWide Music Group/Universal Music Group, model with Rude Boy Family (Clothing), and sponsored artist with music producers Goon On The Track.
I make music based on my life and experiences while making music for people to make it through hard times and daily needs. I’ve been making music for a while so now it’s like I’m at a comfortable spot as an artist. I know the content I want to speak on, and where I need to remain consistent at. With that being said I want to reach as many people as possible and change the world through music.

Borrow My Eyes is an Ep I released with digital distribution with WorldWide Music Group & Universal Music Group. Featuring music production from BBO Tabasco, GeniusBoy, Mashio, Khaszmusic & Cker Tha Hitman. Along with guest features from Artwork, Sariah Mansoer, Jennie J & Jael Johnson.
The award winning Ep has 3 music videos all available online. Songs have received placement on several online and fm radio stations worldwide, along with TV placement on over 50 different networks in it’s first year alone. “Pieces ft. Jael Johnson” was recently selected to appear on MTV-U.
What inspired you to write this release?
Recent events. I’ll leave it at that. Instead of ranting about the things that upset me I decided it would be better on pen and paper, so I get mixed reviews on my project because the topics I chose are very controversial.
Any plans to release a video?
I plan on releasing a music video to the first single I finish recording on my newest project not yet released. It will be huge for the industry and the world.
Any plans to hit the road?
I hit the road once a month. Usually Dallas, TX or Fort Worth area for now. I regularly perform at Poor David’s Pub & The Curtain Club. Attendance is usually between 50-100 people.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
I take risks with every opportunity. No one is out here teaching me the game at this point so I’m learning to create for myself by risking my reputation and brand on the regular. I may go shopping and post it with me in the picture and tag the actual company. That has worked for me with Taco Bell and a few companies so far. You’d be surprised how the industry works at times. I try to keep my post on social media the same as my music so that my listeners aren’t confused on who I am as a person.
Who have you been listening to lately?
I like to listen to T.I. It took a while for him to grow on me, but his last 3 lp’s have been on positive things that I represent so he got me. I like Killer Mike and the Run The Jewels thing he has going. Pusha T even though he raps about drugs I envy his lyricism. Then there’s Ab-Soul. He’s an absolute beast to me.
Tell us about your passions
I look forward to working out, staying in shape, and spending time with my girlfriend and loves ones to make the days go by. I usually play tennis or go swimming to cope with life. It’s my go to place when I don’t want to be bothered.
What else is happening next in your world?
I have open collaborators I’m looking to work with. I’m trying to get my music in films, commercials etc. I am pushing to do more modeling with Rude Boy Family and eventually start preparing for the 2-3 tours coming soon. I have organizations that want me to tour with them and help the kids these days know that you don’t have to be gangster to do music, especially hip-hop.
Thanks for an awesome interview, Christopher!
